Lynn Rutland, CEOMHMR Services for the Concho Valley was established in 1967 and is sponsored by Tom Green County, the City of San Angelo, the San Angelo Independent School District, and Angelo State University. We serve a seven county area including Tom Green, Concho, Sterling, Irion, Coke, Crockett and Reagan. We provide services under contracts with the Texas Departments of Health Services and Aging and Disabilities to individuals with a mental illness and/or mental retardation identified as priority population.The mission of Mental Health Mental Retardation Services for the Concho Valley is to offer an array of services and supports which respond to the needs of  people with mental illness, mental retardation and autism, enabling them to make choices that result in lives of dignity and increased independence.
