|Title:||Therapy Tech II (Client Finance)|

Works a regular shift at the Center plus may have on-call duties. Works under the direct supervision of the IDD Community Services Program Manager. Duties may include but, are not limited to: assisting with client finance; being a liaison between SSA and Medicaid; writing checks; balancing accounts; and, creating and maintaining financial documentation/records. All services are provided with the goal of assisting each consumer to become as independent as possible. Provides all services in accordance with the Texas Administrative Code (TAC) and provider billing guideline for HCS and TxHmL; as well as the DADS Performance Contract and Data Verification Manual for GR services. HS graduation or GED required; some college preferred. Must have a valid TX Driver's License and be insurable under the Center's Liability insurance. Two years’ work experience preferred in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities. Ability to work independently; to organize work efficiency; and, to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. Ability to work cooperatively and effectively with professional personnel; to prepare reports and make recommendations for administrative use. Knowledge of computer operation; computer applications; and, wiliness to learn new applications. Ability to develop productive relationships with individuals and families that focus on individualized specific outcomes. Ability to effectively supervise and maintain staff.
