|Title:||Mental Health (MH) Licensed Practitioner of the Healing Arts (LPHA)|

Performs responsible adminstrative management by coordinating the efforts of the Mental Health Intake Process for adults and children. Provides intake and screening services, referrals and assessments for individuals seeking services. Clinically supervises work of other Center staff. Provides program oversight and manages the work of the Adult Mental Health Respite Supervisor. Plans, assigns and supervises work activities for Veterans Service Program and Veteran Peer Provider. Serves as one of the the Center's certified Mental Health First Aid Instructors. Provides limited scope of patient counseling. Related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Master's Degree from an accredited college or university with a major in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling or other Human Services field. At least two years of experience in direct care of individuals with SPMI, including experience in an acute care setting; at lease two years of experience participating as a member of a treatment team that develops and monitors treatment plans for individuals with chronic and serious mental illness and at least two years of experience supervising MH providers.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or PhD licensed psychologist in the State of Texas. Valid Texas driver's license is required. Must not have more than three moving violations in the last three years and proof of current liability insurance.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Demonstrate via a combination of experience and education, the ability to work in a rapid pace environment in an organized and professional manner. Ability to self-monitor production and quality with minimal assistance. Basic knowledge and familiarity with data systems including business software such as Microsoft Office. The ability to work as a team member in a diverse environment interfacing with both internal and external customers. Ability to evaluate new systems and procedures and to implement them as needed. The ability to act decisively, make decision and delegate authority. The ability to establish and maintain effective working relations with supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates. Ability to plan programs to analyze and solve work problems.
|Salary:||$42,000.00 - $48,000.00 (commensurate with experience)|
|Hours:||Monday -Friday, 8a.m. -5p.m.|
