Wanting to Donate?
Many individuals and their families have fought long, hard battles for mental illness, developmental disabilities, and the stigma associated with them. Your support of MHMRCV will help bring vital services to the people in our area who need the help the most. No one has ever turned away from the MHMRCV because of an inability to pay for services. This makes your contribution even more essential.
Although the government provides some services for persons with mental illness and developmental disabilities, due to budget cuts, many agencies that provide services have had to downsize and eliminate some services. Contributions from the community are needed to fill in the gaps to help address these unmet needs. Your generosity will enable our staff to continue providing their invaluable community-based services to the greatest number of children, teens, adults, and families. Donations are tax-deductible contributions.

San Angelo Gives
As you may be aware by now, the San Angelo Gives fundraiser begins at midnight.
San Angelo Gives is a powerful 24-hour online fundraising event hosted by the San Angelo Area Foundation that will unite our community around causes that matter. San Angelo Gives is a great way to give community members the chance to find and support nonprofit organizations whose mission aligns with their passions.
Our ABC Center for Children will be one of the nonprofits to be listed for donations. Did you know that out of all our Center services, applied behavior analysis (ABA) therapy is not covered by the state’s Medicaid program? Not only does this leave families scrambling to afford the treatment but creates a challenge for the Center to continue providing this specialized service and maintain the day to day operations.
The ABC Center could surely use your help! All it takes is $10.00 minimum or $20 in 2020. If we can get as many people as possible to commit to donating, we can raise a lot of money. To donate visit the San Angelo Gives website on May 5, 2020. www.sanangelogives.org.
Your support will help ensure that every child with autism has the opportunity to continue to progress in their homes, schools, and their community.
