|Title:||Clerk Typist I/FYGC Receptionist|

Manages incoming phone calls; responsible for scheduling appointments; completes appointment reminder calls; prepares appointment cards; maintains patient routing sloips; manages lab appointments; assists new patients with required paperwork; security oversight; electronically complies and distributes appointment data; responsible for completing purchase requisition paperwork; accounts for cash transcation; opens/stamps/distribures mail; completes clinic open/closure procedures; manages inventory of office supplies; and, other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduation from an accredited High School or GED required. Some business or Commercial College preferred. Minimum of one-year experience as a receptionist or basic business training equivalent.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Must have a current Texas driver's license and be insurable under the Center's liability insurance. Must not have more than three moving violations in the last three years.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED: Experience working with a multi-line phone system; ability to type at least 30 words per minute; strong PC skills, experience using Microsoft Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office suite of applications; outstanding organizational skills; demonstrated ability to work comfortably and easily in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of client interaction; excellent customer service skills; excellent phone skills. Effective multi-tasking skills. Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish).
|Hours:||Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Punctuality is a REQUIRMENT.|
