Counseling Services
Counseling is provided to children and adolescents who have an emotional disturbance or major psychiatric disorder. The goals of counseling services are to promote problem resolution and to facilitate interpersonal growth and change. Services are also offered to family members of the consumer. Counseling services include individual therapy, family therapy, play therapy, and therapeutic activities.

Service Coordination Services
Service Coordination is a system in which a single individual performs activities in the service of the consumer and family, ensuring that the consumer has access to and receives all resources and services which can help them maintain their optimal level of functioning. Service Coordination is designed to serve persons with mental illness who are not able to find their way through the maze of service locations, forms, waiting lists, and regulations of service agencies. Consumers who are eligible for service coordination have generally had past hospitalizations for psychiatric illnesses, or have multiple needs which cannot be met by counseling alone.

Psychosocial – Rehabilitation
Psychosocial rehabilitation therapeutic activities are provided to children already admitted to other outpatient services during a summer day program and during the after school program. Group therapy, life skills training, pre-vocational training and socialization are some aspects of this program.

Medication Services
Medication Services provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, medications, lab work, and assessments. Targeted psychiatric symptoms will be reduced or managed with the use of prescribed medications. Monthly visits to the psychiatrist and nurse for medication monitoring and education regarding side effects are a component of this service.

Hospitalization Services
Crisis Hospital Services place consumers in a safe environment appropriate for their needs during a time of extreme crisis and provides a therapeutic environment most conducive to the prescribed treatment method. A hospital setting allows monitoring of consumers starting on psychoactive medication for possible adverse effects.

Community Support
Community Support provides education classes regarding mental illness to families of consumers and to Center employees to increase understanding and empathy towards consumers.
